Merry Christmas

This week we have been completing a Christmas Create choice board. Here are the activities I completed. I made a slide about Christmas.

 

Term 4 Basic Facts

We enjoy practising our basic facts each day using Prototec.  We also try and beat the clock on paper throughout the year.  Here is my Term 4 results.  I am proud because I am so fast.

Caving and Glow worms work

 We learned lots when we were on our camp and wanted to share these with Team Maunga before they go on their trip.  For reading and writing we have been busy creating things to help Team Maunga.  Here is my work on.

Thank you letter

A few weeks ago, instead of our camp to Coopers Beach, we went on a day trip to KawaKawa and had a sleepover at school. Our awesome parent helpers came along to supervise us. Here is a letter I wrote to say thank you.

Vaseline Saucer

For pet day 2021 we created Vaseline Saucers.  We made a design and thought about symmetry and patterns.  Then on Pet day we used our designs to help us with creating our work.  Here is my DLO for my Vaseline Saucer.

Handwriting Term 3

Here is my handwriting sample for Term 3.  I am good at making my letters the correct height. I need to work on making my writing neat and tidy.

This term we have been learning some new techniques for creating digital art pieces. Here is my artwork from this term. I like my pop art because it was a fun day when we did it. I like my kiwi texture because I like the colours. I learnt how to trace pictures.

In Team Awa we had an outdoor learning day. We got to go outside and make huts around the back. We were learning about how movie making is like writing a story and that we needed to take different types of movie shots. Here is some examples of what I learned.
